Glorious Flower Farms

Puerto Rico has a wonderful climate for year-round growing of many ornamental and food crops. Lately, sunflowers have become all the rage. They are so beautiful and popular, so a number of sunflower farms have opened around the island. Some are just for growth and production of the cut flowers, but a few are open to the public for enjoyment, photographs and/or purchases.

Sunflowers seem to grow very well near the coasts here in Puerto Rico, and they are hardy flowers that last a long time as cut flowers.
