We took our 3yo and 7yo on the 1 hr ride. We got there early on a Monday morning and were lucky to have the 1 hr tour with just the four of us and the guide. After the ride, we ate lunch at the restaurant on property - which was very good. The girls were begging to go again, so we signed up for another 1 hr ride. This time, we were in a group with about 10 other people. Not nearly as much fun so I'd recommend going early before the crowds and hopefully you can get in a smaller group.
