We just spent a wonderful week at Vista Azul beach house in Aguada (August 12-20). Our favorite snorkeling beach was Steps beach. Getting there is exactly as you describe. The water was calm all week. The area is a large elk horn coral reef and part of a marine reserve. We swam with turtles, schools of big blue fish, and even saw an octupus and squid. It was one of the highlights of our vacation. Thank you for all you the useful information on your website. Your GPS coordinates plugged into our GPS were a lifesaver!!!
