Go Outlet Shopping Near Arecibo

Prime Outlets, Barceloneta, Puerto Rico

If you live to shop, then you need to plan a trip out to the Prime Outlets in Barceloneta, near Arecibo. Recently expanded in November 2008, there are now more than 85 stores available for your shopping enjoyment. This mall is now the largest outlet mall in the the Caribbean.

Here you will find a colorful collection of stores, including all sorts of famous brand names. Some of the stores are Adidas, Aeropostale, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Bass, Carter’s, Charlotte Russe, Coach, GAP Outlet, Gymboree, Kenneth Cole, Nike Factory Store, Nautica, Nine West, Oakley Vault, Old Navy Outlet, Perry Ellis, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Reebok, Skechers, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, among many more. Almost anything you could want. There is also a food court, restroom facilities and plenty of free parking.

The outlet stores are open Monday – Saturday from 9:00am until 9:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am until 5:00pm. Closed on New Year’s Day, Three Kings Day, Good Friday, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Driving directions: From the San Juan area, take Route 22 west to exit #55 (Barceloneta exit). You can see the mall from the highway.

Drive time from the San Juan area is about 1 hour.
