Tropical Storm Erin
(updated 13 Aug 2025 @ 12pm AST/EDT)
⭕ Erin is currently forecast to strengthen to a hurricane later this week, though it is not expected to be a direct threat to Puerto Rico.
🔀 On the current forecast track, Erin is expected to pass to the north-east of Puerto Rico as a "major hurricane" (meaning Category 3 or higher) this coming weekend.
⛈️ We would expect rainfall, localized flooding, and rough seas, especially in the north-eastern part of Puerto Rico, as Erin churns through the Atlantic to the north.
👀 The current forecast models have Erin traveling westward to the north of Puerto Rico, and then turning sharply nortward as it gets closer to Puerto Rico - we will keep our eyes on it, and will update this notice as conditions change.
