📍 A turn toward the north-northwest is forecast later today, followed by a faster motion toward the north on Thursday and Friday. On the forecast track, the center of Philippe will continue to move away from Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands today.
â›ˆī¸ Puerto Rico is experiencing rain that is trailing to the south of Philippe. Rainfall associated with Philippe may bring 2 to 4 inches of rain to portions of Puerto Rico through Thursday. This rainfall could result in scattered flash flooding.
🌊 Swells generated by Philippe will affect portions of the Atlantic coast of Puerto Rico for another couple days. These swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.
