Tropical Storm BERTHA (Fri, 01 Aug 2014 @ 11am AST/EDT) A tropical storm warning is in effect for Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques. TS BERTHA is currently centered about 570 miles southeast of San Juan, moving west-northwest at about 21 MPH. Maximum sustained winds are about 50 MPH, and extend out about 115 miles from the center. TS BERTHA is expected to be in the vicinity of Puerto Rico for most of the day on Saturday. Rainfall over Puerto Rico is predicted to be around 3"-6" across the island, with possibility of up to 10" across the southern part of the island.
