Sun and Fun snorkeling to Icacos island on catamaran sailboat or motorboat. Lunch and beverages included. Hard to beat for a great day of vacation. There are a number of snorkel boat tours that leave out of the Fajardo area and visit reefs and the out-islands.

Hipodromo Camarero Race Track. It is the only thoroughbred race track in Puerto Rico. If you enjoy horse racing, or just want a fun way to spend a few exciting hours - you can put this on your To-Do list.

Looking for a bargain on new designer clothes, a new pair of designer sunglasses, or maybe just some time out of the sun or rain? There is always the all-enclosed air conditioned The Outlet- Route 66 Mall where you can "shop 'til you drop".

The National Botanical Garden of Puerto Rico is a big name for a lovely green oasis in the middle of a city. Locally, it is known as "el Jardin Botanico". The garden (Jardin Botanico SUR) is affiliated with the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), and it is open to the public free of charge.

Balneario Monserrate is one of my favorites beaches, just due to the scenery - it is a crescent of fine sand, blue water and lots of mature palm trees for shade. And behind that, you have the Rain Forest - it's picture perfect.

El Yunque Rain Forest is the only tropical rain forest in the US National Forest system. Ample rainfall (over 200 inches a year in some areas) creates a jungle-like setting - with lush foliage, waterfalls and rivers. Hike along the trails that cover miles of breathtaking terrain.

We took a trip to Bacardi Rum Factory to see the tour. I have been on other sugar cane and rum tours on other islands and always enjoyed them. This was different, more of a tour about Bacardi that takes place at their factory, but not a whole factory tour. But it is generally entertaining.
